PHSWERTE Payment Methods — Every Rail, Its Limits & Its Rules
The 3 pages in this section cover payment methods.
- PHSWERTE Bank Transfer
- Bank Transfer is a Philippine payment rail — regulation: Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, under a National Retail Payment System framework that Circular No. 980 established.
- PHSWERTE GCash
- GCash is a Philippine payment rail — regulation: Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is the licensing body, with an Electronic Money Issuer licence.
- PHSWERTE GrabPay
- GrabPay is a Philippine payment rail — regulation: In 2018 it became an Electronic Money Issuer under Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas licensing.
Philippine payment rails are the subject of these pages: who operates each, what it is licensed as, and what it publishes on limits, fees and settlement. Payment figures are copied between affiliate sites more carelessly than nearly anything else online, so every number here traces to the provider’s own domain or to a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas document. There are 3 pages below.
Everything in this section
| Rail | Operated by | Settlement | Gambling position published |
|---|---|---|---|
| GCash | G-Xchange | for PESONet the same banking day | Yes |
| GrabPay | GPay Network Philippines | in real time | Yes |
| Bank Transfer | Both clearing houses run under BSP oversight by Philippine Payments Management | either in real time | No |
3 pages, and each covers one entry and does not summarise several. For any field above that reads “not published”, the entry’s own page explains who would have needed to publish it.
Each entry in a paragraph
Just enough on each entry to tell you which page deserves a click.
GCash, in detail
Operator: G-Xchange, Inc., which belongs to Mynt and was formed jointly by Globe Fintech Innovations and Ayala Corporation.
Published limit: Fully Verified is measured at any given time against PHP 100,000.
On gambling: Pyramid and Ponzi schemes are the closest thing to a target of any general clause in GCash’s own terms and conditions, which contain no blanket ban on gambling merchants.
GrabPay explained
Operator: GPay Network Philippines, Inc. serves as the licensed e-money issuer for Grab in the Philippines.
Published limit: Whereas a Restricted wallet allows PHP 10,000 loaded per month, a Standard Consumer wallet allows PHP 100,000 and a driver or merchant wallet PHP 250,000.
On gambling: Gambling meets a prohibition here, the clearest stance of any Philippine e-wallet examined.
Bank Transfer, in detail
Operator: Both clearing houses run under BSP oversight by Philippine Payments Management, Inc., with the transfers executed by individual BSP-supervised banks and e-money issuers.
This rail has no wallet limit at all, which explains why the field reads not applicable and is not left blank.
Bank Transfer takes no published stance on gambling transactions. Do not read that as permission, since merchant-category rules often apply without being published, and a payment may be declined even though no public rule stands behind it.
The thing most often got wrong here
No single comparable number describes a wallet limit. A cap on the balance held at any one time is what GCash publishes, whereas Maya publishes a monthly total. The two measure different things, and side-by-side tables that set PHP 100,000 against PHP 100,000 as if they were equal end up comparing a bucket with a tap.
On every page you will be told which of the two figures it quotes. One limit is hit by holding money and the other by moving it, and however a table is formatted, the two cannot be reconciled.
Look over payment methods details inside the game itself
Of all the details on a site such as this, payment figures are the quickest to become stale. A couple of minutes is all it takes to recheck each one:
- Go to the provider’s own help centre and skip the comparison page. All three of GCash, Maya and Grab put their limits and terms on their own domains, and each has revised them within the past two years.
- Work out the tier that a quoted limit is tied to. Nearly every wallet figure going around is the top-tier number presented as if a new account qualified for it, when a new account sits on the bottom tier.
- Skip the bank and read the BSP FAQ PDFs when you need InstaPay and PESONet details. Scheme rules decide the per-transaction cap and who bears the fee, while a bank’s own page covers only its own charges.
- Whenever gambling and payments are involved, read the provider’s whole acceptable use policy. The clearest statement any of these providers makes is GrabPay’s prohibition, and it sits in its terms of service instead of a help article.
- Every figure on these pages carries the date September 2026 and should be treated that way. That is precisely why each page names where its figure came from.
Using these payment methods at PHSWERTE
- Sign in at PHSWERTE and open the cashier.
- Choose a method from those the cashier lists for your account and read the limits it displays.
- Make sure the name on your PHSWERTE account matches the name on your bank or wallet.
- Confirm the amount, then hold on to the reference number until the balance is updated.

FAQ
Does any of these rails publish a stance on gambling transactions, and which?
GCash, GrabPay. GrabPay takes the firmest line, and it amounts to a prohibition, since casino games and sports betting fall outside what its own acceptable use policy allows, save where the activity is registered with the appropriate government agency.
Why do none of the pages here list a deposit minimum?
Because a deposit minimum is set by the operator's cashier, not by the payment rail, and no PHSWERTE cashier was checked during research. Anything printed in that slot would have been made up.
Are these figures current?
What you see is a snapshot taken in September 2026. Providers revise limits and fees without notice, which is why each page names the provider page its figure was taken from, so you can check it again.
Does GCash work for topping up a casino account?
Nothing in GCash's own terms bans gambling merchants outright, yet in August 2025 BSP told every supervised institution to remove in-app gambling links, and GCash has blocked thousands of merchants that abused its QR system. Nothing in that adds up to a published statement, in either direction, about a licensed casino's cashier, and this site does not provide one.
Why do the pages here handle GrabPay differently from the other wallets?
The reason is that its own terms of service contain the only explicit gambling prohibition. To describe GrabPay to a reader as an easy way to fund a casino account would run against what GrabPay says about itself.
InstaPay versus PESONet: what sets them apart?
Transfers on InstaPay settle in real time, around the clock, with personal transfers capped at PHP 50,000 per transaction. With no scheme-wide cap, PESONet clears in batches on banking days. Because InstaPay's ceiling pushes bigger transfers onto PESONet, the amount is usually what decides which rail carries a transfer.
